Education
Maas studied briefly at the Art Institute of Chicago and the Milwaukee Art Museum before enrolling in the Visual Communications Program at the Alberta College of Art and Design where he received a 4 year diploma.[1]
Maas is a Senior Signature Member of the Federation of Canadian Artists[3] and an Elected Member of the Society of Canadian Artists [4]

Maas' works are in private collections across Canada, The United States and Europe. As well, he has several famous clients including Actors, Actresses and Musicians.[18]
Maas' has done a series of features for Strathmore Artists Papers, specifically their Toned Tan line.[19]
Maas' drawing of Ken Jeong was featured on Today (U.S. TV program)[20]
