Biographie
En 1897, son affiche pour la revue The Century imprimée à New-York chez Henry Atwell Thomas & Wylie Lith. Co, est reproduite dans la revue Les Maîtres de l'affiche dirigée par Jules Chéret (1895-1900). Il a collaboré à la revue londonienne The Poster (1898-1901).

Maxfield Parrish (July 25, 1870 – March 30, 1966) was an American painter and illustrator active in the first half of the 20th century. He is known for his distinctive saturated hues and idealized neo-classical imagery. Максфилд Пэрриш (англ. Maxfield Parrish, 1870—1966) — американский художник и иллюстратор, знаменитый многочисленными работами на сказочные и мифологические сюжеты. Пэрриш — автор собственной живописной методики, которая заключалась в использовании лишь четырех основных цветов: синего, сиреневого, желтого и черного. Комбинацией из этих цветов он добивался нужного оттенка, а разделением слоев лаком — объемности изображения[3].
