Rockwell Kent , né le 21 juin 1882 à Tarrytown, dans l'État de New York, mort le 13 mars 1971 à Plattsburgh dans l'État de New York est un auteur, artiste peintre et illustrateur américain.

Biographie

Jeunesse et Formation

Rockwell Kent est le fils de Rockwell Kent, un avocat et un ingénieur des mines, et de Sara Ann Holgate. Il passe son enfance dans des conditions aisées entre les résidence familiales de Tarrytown et de Long Island. Son père meurt quand il est âgé de cinq ans, décès qui diminue drastiquement les ressources de la famille[1].
