William Turner (12. November 1789 in Black Bourton, England – 7. August 1862 in Oxford, England), zumeist beschrieben als William Turner of Oxford oder einfach Turner of Oxford, war ein englischer Aquarellist, der sich auf Landschaften spezialisierte. Er war ein Zeitgenosse des berühmteren Kollegen William Turner, eig. Joseph Mallord William Turner, und sein Stil war diesem nicht unähnlich. William Turner of Oxford verbrachte fast sein gesamtes Leben in der Grafschaft Oxfordshire, wo er auch die meisten seiner Motive fand.

William Turner (29 November 1789 – 7 August 1862) was an English painter who specialised in watercolour landscapes. He is often known as William Turner of Oxford or just Turner of Oxford to distinguish him from his contemporary, J. M. W. Turner (known as William). Many of Turner's paintings depicted the countryside around Oxford.[1] One of his best known pictures is a view of the city of Oxford from Hinksey Hill.[1]
