Cristoforo Canozzi, noto anche come Cristoforo da Lendinara o Cristoforo Genesini (Lendinara, 1426 circa – dopo il 1477), è stato un pittore italiano del Rinascimento.

Biografia

Sia lui che il fratello maggiore Lorenzo erano pittori, mosaicisti, modellisti in terracotta, intagliatori di legno e stampatori di libri. Operarono a Modena e a Padova. Cristoforo realizzò una Vergine con Bambino e una Crocifissione con i Santi Girolamo e Francesco ora nella Galleria di Modena, (1482).

Cristoforo Canozzi, also called Cristoforo da Lendinara, (c. 1426 – after 1477) was an Italian painter of the Renaissance. He was born in Lendinara. Both he and his older brother Lorenzo Canozzi were painters, mosaicists, modellers in terra-cotta, wood-carvers, and printers of books. They flourished at Modena and Padua. He was the author of a Virgin and Child and a Crucifixion with SS. Jerome and Francis in the Gallery of Modena, (1482).
