Friedrich Hohe (Bayreuth, 1802Monaco di Baviera, 7 giugno 1870) è stato un litografo e pittore tedesco.


Biografia


Nacque a Bayreuth, in Baviera, nel 1802, il suo primo maestro di pittura era suo padre. Nel 1820 entrò nella Accademia delle belle arti di Monaco. Successivamente, dal 1823 fino alla fine della sua vita, si dedicò alla litografia.[1]

Nel 1826 Hohe andò in Italia con il pittore paesaggistico Carl Rottmann. Due anni dopo, pubblicò Galleria di Leuchtenberg (1831)[2] e successivamente collaborò con Hanfstängl nella produzione della Galleria Dresda (1864-1869).[1][3] Alla fine della sua vita, Hohe fece dei dipinti paesaggistici ma non ebbe molto successo.

Morì a Monaco il 7 giugno 1870. Il fratello maggiore di Hohe, Nikolaus Christian Hohe (1798-1868),[1][4] era anche egli un pittore.[5]

Friedrich Wilhelm Anton Hohe (* 3. April 1802[1] in Bayreuth; † 7. Juni 1870[2] in München) war ein deutscher Maler und Lithograf.

Friedrich Hohe (1802 – 7 June 1870) was a German lithographer and painter. Born in Bayreuth, Bavaria, in 1802, his first painting teacher was his father, who was himself a painter. In 1820 he entered the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Munich (also known as the Munich Academy). Thereafter, from 1823 till near the end of his life, he devoted himself to lithography.[1]
