Guillermo Kuitca (Buenos Aires, 22 gennaio 1961) è un pittore argentino, figura chiave dell'arte latinoamericana, conosciuto soprattutto per le carte geografiche e i disegni architettonici.[1]. Kuitca ha esposto in tutto il mondo ed i suoi lavori sono entrati a far parte delle maggiori collezioni internazionali, come p.es. il Met, MoMA,[2] l'Art Institute of Chicago, la Tate Gallery, lo Stedelijk Museum e il Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden.[3] Il suo lavoro è stato mostrato alla Biennale di Venezia del 2007.

Guillermo Kuitca (born 1961 in Buenos Aires) is an Argentine artist, who continues to work and live in Buenos Aires. Kuitca's work has been shown extensively around the globe, and is included in many important public collections, including The Tate Gallery, England; The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, NY; Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, Washington, DC; the North Carolina Museum of Art, Raleigh; Albright-Knox Art Gallery, Buffalo, NY and The Daros Collection, Zürich, Switzerland,[citation needed] and at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis.[1] Kuitca represented Argentina at the 2007 Venice Biennale.[2] Recurrent themes of travel, maps, memory, and migration can be found in Kuitca’s work. He won the Konex Award from Argentina in 1992 and 2002.
