The Goetz Collection (Sammlung Goetz) is a private collection of contemporary art in Munich, Germany.[1] It opened in 1992.[2] The collection is owned and continually being enlarged by the former gallery dealer Ingvild Goetz,[3] who presents the collection to the public in a series of themed exhibitions in a purpose built museum. Rather than taking an encyclopedic view, the collection focuses on developing particular artists.[4]

The Collection organizes exhibitions along with video and film programmes on the lower level of the building.[5] The building was designed by the Swiss architectural firm Herzog & de Meuron.[6][7]

Коллекция Гёц[1] (нем. Sammlung Goetz) — коллекция произведений современного искусства — картин, графических работ, рисунков, фотографий, видеоработ и инсталляций — собранная меценатом и коллекционером Ингвильд Гёц начиная с 1960-х годов; собрание выставляется в собственном здании, спроектированном швейцарским архитектурным бюро «Herzog & de Meuron» и расположенном в районе Оберфёринг города Мюнхен — на улице Оберфёрингер-штрассе; в 2004 году здание, включающее в себя специализированную библиотеку с фондом в 7000 томов, было расширено. В сентябре 2013 года Гёц передала коллекцию и музей в дар Баварии.
