Maia Damianovic (1976 in South England) is a British-born American writer of numerous art critical texts, magazine articles, exhibition catalogs, artist monograms and art reviews.

Maia Damianovic was born in England, but grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She attended the University of Toronto and studied art and culture in at the École des Beaux-Arts of Paris-Sorbonne University.[1]
Damianovic has worked as an independent curator of a number of large-scale projects including The Invisible Touch, Kunstraum Innsbruck; Days of Hope, Frame Programme 49th Venice Biennale; To Actuality, ARGEKUNST, Bolzano, Italy: Enactments of the Self, steirischer herbst art festival: Reality 10’55", Odense, Kunsthallen Brandts Klaedefabrik, Odense, Denmark; future systems: rare momente, Lentos Museum of Contemporary Art, Linz, Austria.[2][3][4][5][6][7]
Customarily, her projects are presented in public and off-site locations. Specialized in situational and performative interactions, and enactments.
Works as an architectural designer for Future Systems Projects, which she co-founded with Andy Robinson in 2007.[8]
March through April 2015, she curated "Radical Busts", 36 busts of significant women from antiquity through modernism that were featured in the Gender Equality section of the 650th Jubilee at the University of Vienna.[9]
