Mari Carmen Ramírez is a Puerto Rican art curator and the Wortham Curator of Latin American art at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.[1][2]

Ramirez began her career in Puerto Rico where she served as director of the Museum of Anthropology, History and Art at the University of Puerto Rico. She spent 12 years in Austin, established the Latin American program at the Blanton Museum of Art and then joined the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. Time magazine has called her one of the most influential Hispanics in the United States.[3][4]
