Yuri Alexandrovich Bychkov (Russian: Юрий Александрович Бычков; 1 September 1931 – 18 April 2016) was an art historian, a member of the Union of Artists and the Union of Theatre Workers of the Russian Federation, director of writer's house museum Melikhovo in 1994-2004.[1]

He graduated from the Moscow Aviation Institute.

Author of the idea, the pioneer of tourism Golden Ring.[2] One of the founders VOOPIK (All-Russian Society for Historic Preservation and Cultural Organization).

He died in Moscow on 18 April 2016.[3]

Юрий Александрович Бычков (1 сентября 1931, Лопасня, Московская область[1] — 18 апреля 2016 года, Москва, Россия[2]) — советский и российский искусствовед, член Союза художников. Автор идеи, первооткрыватель туристского «Золотого кольца» (экспозиция и цикл очерков в «Советской культуре», 1967).[3][4][5][6][7][8]. Директор Государственного литературно-мемориального музея-заповедника А. П. Чехова «Мелихово» в 1994—2004 годах.
