Ascension of Christ is a c.1496-1500 painting by Pietro Perugino, now in the musée des Beaux-Arts de Lyon. It was the prototype for his Sansepolcro Altarpiece.[1]

L'Ascensione di Cristo è un dipinto a olio su tavola (280x216 cm) di Pietro Perugino, databile al 1496-1500 circa e nel Musée des Beaux-Arts di Lione. Si tratta dello scomparto centrale dello smembrato Polittico di San Pietro. Nello stesso museo è conservata anche la cimasa con l'Eterno benedicente con cherubini e angeli. Fu oggetto dei furti napoleonici durante l'invasione francese.
