Cherub Playing a Lute or Musical Cherub is a 1521 oil on panel painting by Rosso Fiorentino, now in the Uffizi in Florence.[1] It is signed "Rubeus Florentinus" and dated - though the date is unclear it probably reads 1521.[2]

It entered the Tribuna of the Uffizi on 29 June 1605, at which date it had its present attribution. The 1635–1638, 1704 and 1853 inventories altered this to Beccafumi and the 1784 inventory to Francesco Vanni before an 1825 inventory restored the present attribution.

Ángel músico es un cuadro del pintor italiano Rosso Fiorentino, fechado en 1521 y pintado al óleo sobre tabla.[1] Su nombre oficial en la Galería Uffizi, donde se conserva, es Ángel músico[1] (en italiano Angelo musicante) pero la obra también es conocida con otras variantes tales como Querubín tocando un laúd o Angelito musical o Putto tocando. Se trata de un fragmento superviviente de una tabla de altar perdida, mucho más grande.[1] En su estado actual mide 39'5 x 47 cm.[1]

Datable de 1521, elle est conservée au musée des Offices à Florence. L'œuvre est signée «Rubeus Florentinus» avec une date indistinctement lisible comme 1521.
