Seated Peasant is a late 19th-century painting by Paul Cézanne. Done in oil on canvas, the work depicts a seated peasant, likely a worker at Jas de Bouffan, Cézanne's family estate in Aix-en-Provence. The painting's age is unknown but credibly dated between 1892 and 1896.[1] It is currently in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.[2]

Paysan assis est une peinture à l'huile sur toile de la fin du XIXe siècle réalisée par Paul Cézanne. L'œuvre représente un paysan assis, vraisemblablement un ouvrier du Jas de Bouffan, le domaine familial de Cézanne à Aix-en-Provence. L'âge du tableau est inconnu mais daté de façon crédible entre 1892 et 1896[1]. Il fait partie de la collection du Metropolitan Museum of Art de New York[2].
